What the app does

Jest Tippet is an offline reference workshop for fly-fishing terminal tackle (leaders, grain windows, knots, hatch desk). Recipes, pinned rigs, and preferences are stored on the device.

Data we process

• On-device content — leader recipes, rigs, and preferences you create. These stay on the device unless you export or share them yourself.
• Optional device signals for service delivery — when the app contacts our infrastructure to decide whether to show remote content or notifications, it may send technical identifiers (for example advertising ID if available, a stable install ID, push token, device/model/OS fields, locale/timezone, install referrer, and app version). These are used for delivery, abuse prevention, and diagnostics — not for selling personal data.
• Camera / files — used only when you choose capture or attach flows inside the app; media is not uploaded by us for advertising.

What we do not do

We do not sell personal information. The app does not include third-party advertising SDKs for interest-based ads. There is no account system required to use the core offline workshop.

Notifications

If you grant notification permission, we may send operational or content notices through Firebase Cloud Messaging. You can revoke permission in system settings.

Retention

On-device workshop data remains until you clear app storage or uninstall. Technical delivery logs on our side are kept only as long as needed for security and reliability.

Your choices

You may deny advertising ID / notification / camera permissions in Android settings, clear app data, or uninstall. For privacy questions, email johnmdckeaton91@gmail.com.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
